Specifications

A ferrule refers to a metal or composite sleeve that is crimped or swaged onto the hose’s end fittings to secure the connection. Ferrules are commonly used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial hose assemblies. The hose’s end fitting is attached to the inner tube and reinforcement layers. A ferrule is used to secure the hose’s end fitting in place, preventing it from detaching under pressure.
To attach a ferrule to a hose, a process called swaging or crimping is used. During this process, the ferrule is compressed tightly around the hose’s end fitting using a specialized crimping tool or machine. This compression creates a secure and leak-resistant connection.

Our ferrule chain contains one of each size of our Stainless Steel Ferrules.  These are perfect for your workshop or tool station to ensure you always order the correct size ferrules for your hose.

We always try to ship orders in a timely manner (3-5 working days) however some of our products are produced to order so lead times & delivery times may vary.

Requests by you to return goods to us will be accepted subject to a handling charge if all of the following criteria are met:

  • The goods are unused and are sourced from the MaxSafe range direct.
  • The goods are in working order.
  • The goods were invoiced within 10 days of the date of return.
  • Carriage is organised by us.
  • The return includes a completed goods return note with a MaxSafe Returns Number.

Handing charges will be levied as follows:
Goods invoiced within 10 days of the date of return will be subject to a handling charge. All goods must be adequately packed and addressed to:

For the avoidance of doubt, returned goods will only be accepted if the above requirements are met. MaxSafe cannot accept responsibility for returns forwarded by customers using their own carriers. MaxSafe is unable to accept any return of goods sourced on a customers behalf which are not listed within the MaxSafe catalogue.
Such orders for non-catalogue goods are non-cancellable and non returnable and as such are accepted entirely at the customers own risk.
